Sunday Service is a literary journal focused on fiction that resists resolution.

We publish work that stays close to interior pressure. Silence. Aftermath. Writing that does not move toward relief. Writing that leaves things unfinished.

Sunday Service is queer attentive. Queerness appears as condition or point of view. Not a lesson. Not punishment. Not a device.

Much of the work examines place as pressure. Family. Belief. Proximity. Restraint. We value what is withheld as much as what is stated.
